Improve product quality

Make quality a property of the process by connecting requirements, verification, change and non-conformance in Windchill.

Quality as a data problem

Most quality escapes are traceability failures: a requirement that changed without the test being re-run, a deviation that was approved by email and never linked to the affected parts. Windchill can close those gaps, but only if requirements, changes and quality records live in the same structure.

Our approach

  • Requirements management connected to the parts and documents that satisfy them, with impact analysis when either side changes.
  • Verification and validation records linked to requirements so coverage is a report, not an exercise.
  • Problem reports, deviations and CAPA as first-class objects with the affected items attached.
  • Regulatory packages (design history file, technical file) assembled from live data rather than copied into folders.

Who this is for

Manufacturers in regulated or safety-critical sectors, and anyone who has assembled an audit binder by hand and would rather not do it again.
